I asked for a supervisor. Supervisor said we would have to arrive to the gate hours ahead of flight time so my son could preboard and he would be assigned a seat once we arrived at the airport. I have never gotten this kind of response. Kids with autism need to be prepared ahead of time so they know what to expect. Most kids with autism probably won't do well sitting at the gate for hours waiting to board a plane.
